Valerie Capaldi or Nine Lives is a villain who works for the Count von Viscount in Ruby Redfort, Look Into My Eyes. She is nicknamed "Nine Lives" because "she has cheated death as many times as any cat". She has a scar across her left eye that Hitch gave her in a fight and wears tinted glasses to conceal it. Hitch shoots and kills her while helping to save Ruby and foil the theft of the Jade Bhudda of Khotan. she's dead now!!!!
